The goal of every business is to make money. To often people are seduced by the latest trend or worst the internet markets recorded pitch. Seek out reasons. Before you add one more fancy tool to your arsenal. It would be better to make sure that what you currently have in place is working correctly. It’s more important than ever before to do things in the right order. When you find the right order you will feel momentum rather quickly.
All these fun new toys we are playing with regularly have distracted us into thinking the toys are the truth. But they are not. Should get mad at the phone if you don’t like what the person on the other end of the line saying? No, of course not we say in our rational state of mind. But in business, we have forgotten or never learned that social media is not a replacement for a real in-person conversation. An email is only a line to communicate or at least conveys useful information to a real person. I’ve never really understood a companies strategy that sends emails from “donotreply”? How is that communicating we value you?
Every business owner should be interested in building relationships that are positive, productive and inspiring. Some of these may be online but it is because they have communicated in a genuine way. A business owner that sees their customers as valuable to their success understands that a relationship is a currency all on its own. There are many ways to connect with your clients but it starts by thinking differently about your relationship
When you begin to see the value of relationships your mindset will change. You’ll begin to see how to create a healthier work environment for you and your employees. This will create and better more engaging relationship with your customers.
